I’ve been thinking about Bucky’s robot arm a lot (hi have we met), so I figured I might as well collect all my thoughts in one place, since they might be interesting/useful to other people. I organized this as a q&a, because these are things I ask myself a lot, but obviously these are just my answers based on what we’ve seen in the MCU. I’d be really interested in what other people think, or if anyone has other questions, because I just love thinking about the synthesis of organic and synthetic life.

Giraffe Manor: yet another entry for my bucket list…

"Giraffe Manor is set in 12 acres of private land within 140 acres of indigenous forest and is only 20 kilometres from Nairobi city centre. Built in the 1930s, this luxury boutique hotel has maintained all the charm of the era and is now famous for its resident herd of Rothschild Giraffe. Giraffe Manor offers you an unparalleled experience of the giraffes, with them vying for your attention at the breakfast table, the front door and even your bedroom window.

Giraffe Manor is also home to many characters including warthogs, bushbuck, dik dik and more than 180 species of birds and has a striking view of the Ngong hills.”

Aluna the dik dik is only 8 inches tall.

She didn’t bond with her mother, so she’s being raised by hand by the luckiest zookeeper ever at the Chester Zoo.

This is 10 day old baby giraffe Margaret at Chester Zoo, being hand fed. Note how she is still VERY BIG even as a baby. That is how giraffes are.
